The Holy Wait: When Heaven Whispers in Silence

Image
🛂Gospel Diary Trickle (GDT) Before the trumpet sounds and the answer thunders… there is a whisper.      A still place where Heaven holds its breath and hearts learn to listen.     Today, we enter the hush—and find God waiting too. "Be still, and know that I am God." — Psalm 46:10. The Spirit invites you today to listen deeper. Beyond sound, beyond noise, beyond need. Whether you’re pacing through Lagos traffic, lying under Chilean stars, or seated quietly in Jakarta, know this: God isn’t absent. His silence is sacred. His stillness is strategy.  🩸 Reflection We ask hard questions in the quiet: _ Why hasn’t He answered yet?   _ Has He heard me at all?   _ Am I being forgotten? But across cultures and continents, the same whisper returns:   - The silence is not punishment—it is preparation. God waits with us. And He weaves even when the loom is silent. 👥 Testimonies from the Nations Morocco : “Six years o...

Returning to God: Possessing the Promised Land in Faith

Working Out Your Salvation: A Call to Spiritual Growth!

🌺Introduction🌺 Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, today we would explore a topic that's crucial to our spiritual growth, and forever more. It's about working out our salvation, with fear and trembling, too. As Philippians 2:12-13 teaches us, in all we do. The Call to Spiritual Growth: As believers, we've been saved by God's amazing grace. But salvation is not just a one-time event, it's a lifelong pace. We're called to grow in our faith, to mature and to abound. To work out our salvation, with spiritual disciplines all around. The Importance of Obedience: Obedience is key to spiritual growth and might. For when we obey God's word, we're walking in His light. We're called to obey His commands, to follow His lead. To trust in His sovereignty, and His goodness. The Role of Spiritual Disciplines: Spiritual disciplines are essential, to our growth and our might. They help us to stay focused, on God's word and His light. Prayer, Bible study, and fe...

Faith in the face of uncertainty

🏵️ Memory Verse 🏵️  Matthew 14:22-33 (NIV): It Reads.... 22. Immediately Jesus made the disciples get into the boat and go on ahead of him to the other side, while he dismissed the crowd.  23. After he had dismissed them, he went up on a mountainside by himself to pray. Later that night, he was there alone. 24. And the boat was already a considerable distance from land, buffeted by the waves because the wind was against it. 25. Shortly before dawn Jesus went out to them, walking on the lake.  26. When the disciples saw him walking on the lake, they were terrified. "It's a ghost," they said, and cried out in fear. 27. But Jesus immediately said to them: "Take courage! It is I. Don't be afraid." 28. "Lord, if it's you," Peter replied, "tell me to come to you on the water." 29. "Come," he said. Then Peter got down out of the boat, walked on the water and came toward Jesus.  30. But when he saw the wind, he was afraid and, beg...

Embracing a Brighter Tomorrow: Stepping into the New Year with Faith and Hope

Image
Memory Verse :  Isaiah 43:19 - "See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the wilderness and streams in the wasteland." Message : As we stand at the threshold of a new year, we're reminded that each passing year brings its own set of opportunities, challenges, and uncertainties. But as Christians, we're called to face the future with faith, hope, and confidence. In our memory verse, Isaiah 43:19, God declares, "See, I am doing a new thing!" This promise reminds us that God is always working, always creating, and always doing something new in our lives. So, what does it mean to step into the new year with faith and hope? Here are a few key takeaways: 1. Leave the past behind:  Don't let past mistakes, failures, or regrets hold you back from embracing the new year. Instead, learn from your experiences and use them as stepping stones for growth. 2. Focus on the present:  Rather than getting bogg...

There's Power in the Word of Prophecy!

🌺Memory Verse🌺: "For the word of God is alive and active. Sharper than any double-edged sword, it penetrates even to dividing soul and spirit, joints and marrow; it judges the thoughts and attitudes of the heart." - Hebrews 4:12 (NIV). Beloved brothers and sisters in Christ. Today, I want to remind you of the power that lies in the word of prophecy. In the Bible, we see numerous instances where prophecies were spoken, and they came to pass. As it is written in Jeremiah 1:12, "The Lord said to me, 'You have seen correctly, for I am watching to see that my word is fulfilled.'" From the prophecies of Isaiah to the prophecies of Revelation, we see the power of God's word unfolding. As our Lord Jesus Christ said in Matthew 24:35, "Heaven and earth will pass away, but my words will never pass away." But prophecy is not just limited to the Bible. In our own lives, we can experience the power of prophecy when we hear a word from God, spoken through H...

Text: Ezekiel 6:7 Introduction: Dear brothers and sisters in Christ, let us reflect on the urgent call to repentance in Ezekiel 6:7. The prophet Ezekiel warns us that the wrath of God is imminent, and it's crucial we examine our hearts. The Urgency  of Repentance: 1. Recognize God's Judgment (Ezekiel 6:7):    The Lord's wrath will soon come upon all nations. 2. Acknowledge Sin (1 John 1:8-10):     We have all sinned and fallen short of God's glory. 3. Repent and Turn to God (Acts 2:38):  Repentance brings forgiveness and salvation. Consequences  of Disobedience: 1. Destruction and Desolation (Ezekiel 6:6-7): God's wrath brings devastation. 2. Separation from God (Isaiah 59:2):  Sin creates a chasm between us and our Creator. The Hope of Salvation: 1. God's Mercy (Psalm 136:1-3) The Lord's loving-kindness endures forever. 2.
