Until All Hear - The Forgotten People of India

 🔥Scripture Focus🔥

“I have other sheep that are not of this sheep pen. I must bring them also. They too will listen to my voice, and there shall be one flock and one shepherd.” — John 10:16 (NIV).

Millions like him have never heard the name of Jesus. Let’s change that.

🧺 A Story Worth Telling🌦️

_ Rekha is 11. Every morning before sunrise, she gathers her family's laundry and walks to the river’s edge in their small Indian village. Her fingers are raw from scrubbing, her heart still tender with childhood wonder. One day, she overhears a visitor mention someone named “Yeshu”—but the moment passes like a breeze, and no one explains. Life carries on. She grows up, raises children, and grows old… never knowing that she was deeply loved by the Savior she never heard of.

How many more Rekhas live and die in silence?

🌍A People Yet to Hear📢

_ Among India’s many communities lives the Rajaka Dhobi people group—known for generations as washerfolk, serving villages and cities alike. But beneath their societal role lies a sobering truth: the Gospel has barely touched their world.

- The Rajaka Dhobi population numbers in the millions.

- Less than 0.1% have ever heard the name of Jesus.

- There are virtually no churches rooted in their heart language.

- They remain unreached—not resistant, simply untouched.

They are not hostile to Christ. They are hidden from the message.

💔God Sees the Overlooked💥

_ Jesus said: “I must bring them also.” These words are not poetic—they are prophetic. Christ longs for the Rajaka Dhobi to know Him, worship Him, and find joy in His name.

This isn't just a missions statistic. This is a call to the Church.

We cannot let the Gospel be a luxury of the reached while millions like Rekha remain unreached. We are co-laborers in God’s mission—and this is our moment to lean in.

♨️What Can You Do Today?

Here’s how we can move from compassion to action:

- 🙏 Pray for dreams, visions, and divine appointments among the Rajaka Dhobi.

- 📚 Support Bible translations in local dialects and storytelling through audio or film.

- 🤝 Share their story in your small group, church, or social platforms.

- 🎁 Give strategically to missions orgs working with South Asian unreached groups.

- ⏱️ Set a reminder to pray daily or weekly for them—add it to your devotional rhythm.

🧭Reflection Prompt🫧

_ What if this is the generation that reaches the Rajaka Dhobi?
What if your voice in prayer is the seed of their salvation story?

🤲Closing Prayer🔥

_ Lord of every people, we lift the Rajaka Dhobi before You. Rekindle our hearts with urgency and compassion. Let no people remain without witness. Call forth laborers, break through cultural barriers, and write Your name upon their hearts. And use us—our prayers, our words, our lives—as vessels of Your global mercy. In Jesus’ name, amen.
