Unlocking the Power of Faith: A Christian Guide.
Welcome to the Gospel Diary, the first ever weekly devotion by Pst Chris S. Akpan.
Bible Verse:
"And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you lock on earth will be locked in heaven, and whatever you open on earth will be opened in heaven." (Matthew 16:19, NLT)
Bible Reading:
"So, you see, it is impossible to please God without faith. Anyone who wants to come to him must believe that there is a God and that he rewards those who sincerely seek him." (Hebrews 11:6, NLT)
Also, consider reading Hebrews 11:1, Romans 10:17, and Matthew 17:20 for further inspiration.
My Personal Testimony:
I am a living example of the power of faith. Through faith, I have been blessed with a permanent job since April 1st, 2004. Here's how it happened:
In early March 2004, I attended a night prayer where I received a word from God to fast for three days. The first day, I fasted from 6 am to 9 pm, the second day from 6 am to 12 pm, and the third day from 6 am to 6 pm. After completing the fast, I had a dream where I saw myself wearing an army uniform and assigned to a specific duty with a colleague. As soon as I woke up, I knew that this dream was a sign of my future role.
Today, I am proud to say that I am an Inspector of Police in Nigeria. My faith has been strengthened since 2004, and I continue to trust in God's plan for my life.
Practical Tips for Building Faith:

Engage with God's word to deepen your understanding and connection with Him.
2. Pray consistently:
Communicate with God through prayer to build a stronger relationship.
3. Engage in church activities: Surround yourself with a community of believers to support and encourage your faith journey.
4. Trust God in difficult times:
Have faith that God is working everything out for your good, even in challenging circumstances.
Faith-Building Exercises:
1. Write down things you're grateful for:
Reflect on the blessings in your life to cultivate a sense of gratitude.
2. Reflect on God's past faithfulness: Remember how God has worked in your life to build trust and confidence.

Encouragement:
Building faith is a journey; take it one step at a time. Don't be discouraged if your faith is not where you want it to be. Keep moving forward, and trust that God is working in your life.
Powerful Words for Good Living:
