🎸Hymn from Global Canticle
No. 2 (SEC 1): Here I Bow
Theme: Humble adoration at the feet of Jesus
Scriptures: Luke 10:39 · John 4:23
Suggested Tune: Eventide
Meter: 10.10.10.10
Key: E♭ Major

Here I bow low, where Your glory remains,
Beyond the noise, beyond earthly domains.
No crown I bring, no title I defend.
Just love that bends where mercy does descend.

Here I bow down, where the silence is full,
Where grace is weighty and worship is whole.
No striving here, no need to impress—
Just holy rest in Your faithfulness.

Here I bow deep, where the tears freely fall,
Where longing meets the One who knows it all.
No mask I wear, no fear I conceal.
Just open wounds You’re willing to heal.

Here I bow still, where Your whisper is flame,
Where hearts are changed by the sound of Your name.
No greater joy, no sweeter release—
Than bowing low in Your perfect peace.

🔎 Supporting Scriptures
Honor the Lord wit
h your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing...” — Proverbs 3:9-10.

“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over...” — Luke 6:38.

💥Devotional Teaching

The tithe is the foundation — the first 10% that belongs to God. But offerings are different. Offerings are voluntary. They are expressions of love, gratitude, and generosity. They come from a willing heart, not a commanded one.

Offerings reveal the depth of our love for God. They show how much we value His kingdom. They demonstrate our desire to see His work advance. Offerings build churches, support missions, feed the poor, and expand the gospel.

In Scripture, offerings were given:
🛕To build the tabernacle
🏯To support the temple
🤚To help the needy
⛩️To honor God in special moments
💤To celebrate God’s goodness
Offerings are seeds. They go beyond obligation and enter the realm of generosity. And God responds to offerings with multiplication. He gives seed to the sower. He increases the harvest of righteousness. He enriches us in every way so we can be generous on every occasion.

🎉Encouraging Scripture:
And God is able to bless you abundantly, so that in all things at all times, having all that you need, you will abound in every good work.”
— 2 Corinthians 9:8.
