1:
Before the altar of the King,
Two lives in grace draw near;
With joyful hearts His praises sing,
In reverent holy fear.
Where two are bound in heaven’s view,
No human hand can rend;
For God makes every covenant new,
To ages without end.
2:
Through golden years or shadow’s hour,
Their path is paved with peace;
Sustained by mercy’s gentle power,
Where praises never cease.
In unity of heart and mind,
They seek the Savior’s face;
A living testimony find
Within His strong embrace.
3:
Lift high the banner of His praise,
Exalt the Bridegroom’s name;
To Him who crowns their future days
With love’s unquenched flame.
To Father, Son, and Spirit blest,
All honor now belongs,
While two in sacred union rest,
Made whole in heaven’s song.
🈂️ Series Introduction:
Marriage is one of God's most beautiful gifts to humanity, yet it is also one of the most misunderstood and challenged institutions in today's world. From the beginning, God established marriage as a sacred covenant designed to reflect His love, foster companionship, build strong families, and advance His purposes on earth.
In this 7-week study, we will explore God's original design for marriage through the lens of Scripture. Whether you are single, engaged, newly married, or have been married for many years, these lessons will provide biblical wisdom, practical guidance, and opportunities for personal reflection and spiritual growth. Together, we will discover how Christ-centered marriages can strengthen families, enrich churches, and impact communities for the glory of God.
As we conclude another year of the GAIA Bible Study Project, may this series challenge us to honor God's design for relationships and inspire us to cultivate lives marked by love, faithfulness, service, forgiveness, and covenant commitment.

🏺Short Story: The Master Builder's Blueprint
A young couple once purchased a beautiful piece of land and decided to build their dream home. Eager to complete the project quickly, they ignored the architect's blueprint and made several changes based on personal preference.
At first, everything seemed fine. The walls went up quickly, and the house looked impressive from the outside. However, when heavy rains and strong winds arrived, cracks began to appear. Doors no longer closed properly. Water leaked through the roof. Eventually, they had to spend a great deal of time and money correcting problems that could have been avoided.
When they finally met with the architect, he asked a simple question:
"Why didn't you follow the blueprint?"
The couple replied, "We thought our way was better."
The architect smiled and said, "I designed the house. I know what will make it stand."
🦥Spiritual Connection:
Marriage is like that house. God is the Architect of marriage. When people build relationships according to personal opinions, cultural trends, or temporary emotions, they often encounter unnecessary struggles. But when marriage is built according to God's blueprint found in Scripture, it develops strength, stability, and endurance.
Jesus taught a similar lesson in Matthew 7:24-25, where the wise man built his house upon the rock. Storms came, but the house stood firm because its foundation was secure. Marriage works best when built according to God's design.
💡Reflection Questions
1. What are some modern ideas about marriage that contradict God's blueprint?2. In what ways can we build relationships according to God's Word?3. Why is God's design always more reliable than human wisdom?
🍢Life Application:
This week, identify one area of your relationships where you need to follow God's blueprint more closely. Pray for wisdom and commit that area to the Lord.
🔔Key Lesson: The Creator of marriage knows best how marriage should function. Lasting relationships are built not on opinions, but on God's design.
