Reflecting on God's Love!

⚓Opening Scripture

John 3:16 (NIV):
“For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life.”

As we approach the holiday season, let's take a moment to reflect on the greatest gift of all - God's love.

๐ŸBible Reading
“But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
— Romans 5:8 (NIV).

This verse reminds us that God’s love is not conditional—it was poured out even before we turned to Him.

๐ŸŽ‰5 Ways to Reflect on God’s Love

1. Gratitude
Psalm 136:26 (NIV): “Give thanks to the God of heaven. His love endures forever.”
Take time to thank God for the blessings in your life.

2. Forgiveness
Colossians 3:13 (NIV): “Bear with each other and forgive one another… Forgive as the Lord forgave you.”
Reflect on areas where you need to forgive yourself or others, and ask God for guidance.

3. Compassion
Micah 6:8 (NIV): “He has shown you, O mortal, what is good. And what does the Lord require of you? To act justly and to love mercy and to walk humbly with your God.”
Show kindness and empathy to those around you, just as God shows kindness to us.

4. Humility
James 4:10 (NIV): “Humble yourselves before the Lord, and he will lift you up.”
Recognize your limitations and weaknesses, and ask God to fill you with His love and strength.

5. Worship
Ephesians 3:17–19 (NIV): “…And I pray that you, being rooted and established in love, may have power… to grasp how wide and long and high and deep is the love of Christ.”
Take time to praise and worship God for His incredible love and sacrifice.

✝️Encouragement Scripture

1 John 4:9–10 (NIV):
“This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. This is love: not that we loved God, but that he loved us and sent his Son as an atoning sacrifice for our sins.”

This scripture encourages us to see God’s love as the foundation for how we live and love others.

๐Ÿ“ฟClosing Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of Your Son, Jesus Christ, and for the unfailing love You pour out on us each day. Help us to walk in gratitude, forgiveness, compassion, humility, and worship. May Your love shine through us this holiday season and beyond. In Jesus’ name, Amen.

๐ŸŒŸBlessing
“And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.” – Philippians 4:7 (NIV).

May the love of God surround you, the peace of Christ fill your heart, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit guide your steps. May reflecting on His love bring you joy, strength, and hope today and always.
