1.
Shekinah, O glory bright,
Dwelling of divine delight!
Nations bow, His pillar stands,
Glory fills the radiant lands.
2.
Cloud descends and fire remains,
Spirit moves across the plains;
Temple sings and saints arise,
Praise ascends the open skies.
3.
Filled with high, celestial flame,
Lamb of God, exalt His name!
Age to age His grace abides,
Where His holy light resides.
4.
Throne of grace and dwelling place,
Nations see His radiant face;
Praise the Lord whose love is sure,
Shekinah, forever pure!
🛄 Memory Verse
“If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.” -- 1 John 1:9
Have you ever taken a wrong road and realized you were getting farther away from where you wanted to be?
The longer you stay on the wrong road, the farther you get from your destination. The best thing to do is stop, turn around, and go back in the right direction.
That is exactly what repentance means. Sin takes us away from God, but repentance turns us back toward Him.
Today we will learn that no matter how far we have wandered, God's invitation remains the same:
“Return to Me.”
🙏Opening Prayer
"Heavenly Father, thank You for bringing us together today. Open our hearts to Your Word and help us understand Your love and mercy. Teach us what true repentance means, and help us draw closer to You. In Jesus' name, Amen."
🍢Introduction:
One of the greatest truths in the Bible is that God never stops calling His people back to Himself. Throughout Scripture, we see men and women who failed, sinned, and wandered from God, yet He lovingly invited them to return.
Repentance is not about being condemned. It is about being restored.
God's desire is not to push us away, but to bring us back into fellowship with Him.
Main Truth:
When we genuinely repent and turn to God, He forgives us, restores us, and gives us new life through Jesus Christ.
🥌Short Story Illustration
The Boy and His Father
A young boy disobeyed his father and ran away from home because he thought life would be better on his own. At first he enjoyed his freedom, but soon he became lonely, hungry, and afraid.
After several days, he decided to return home. As he walked back, he worried that his father would be angry and reject him.
But when he finally arrived, his father ran to meet him, hugged him, and said,
"Welcome home. I've been waiting for you."
The boy learned an important lesson: home was always where he belonged.
In the same way, God welcomes those who return to Him with sincere hearts.
