🎵Hymn from Global Canticle
No. 4 (SEC 1): Awake, My Soul
Scriptures: • Psalm 108:2 • Isaiah 60:1
Suggested Tune: St. Anne • Meter: 8.6.8.6 (CM) • Key: G Major
1:
Awake, my soul, to break the night,
And greet the dawning day;
The Lord has stirred the skies with light,
And chased the dark away.
2:
Let every tongue proclaim His name,
Let every heart arise;
The Spirit moves like holy flame,
And glory fills our eyes.
3:
No longer bound by silent fear,
The waking soul shall soar;
The voice of God is sounding clear—
Revival at the door!
4:
Awake, my soul, shake off the dust,
The glorious hour begun;
With radiant praise and holy trust,
Behold the rising Son!
📑Bible Reading:
Colossians 3:23 (NLT): "Work hard and cheerfully at whatever you do, as though you were working for the Lord rather than for people."
🪹🚥🌟🚥🪺
"Waiting is one of the hardest tests of faith. In waiting seasons, shortcuts often appear tempting, but integrity is proven when we choose patience over compromise.”

☘️ • Core Teaching:
Boaz did not take advantage of Ruth in her vulnerable position. Instead, he acted honorably, promising to resolve matters properly. This shows that patience preserves integrity. Waiting on God’s timing keeps us from compromising and allows righteousness to shine.
🏕️Ruth’s Humility:
1): Ruth works diligently in the fields, trusting God’s timing.
2): Her waiting is active — she labors faithfully while expecting favor.
🌘 Short Story:
A business owner was offered a shortcut to bypass licensing delays. The deal looked attractive — faster profits, quicker expansion, and less paperwork. But deep down, he knew it would compromise his credibility. He refused, choosing instead to wait for proper approval. The waiting was long and frustrating, with competitors moving ahead. Yet when the license finally came through, his company prospered with credibility, trust, and long-term stability. Years later, clients said they chose his firm because of its reputation for integrity. His patience protected his honor, just as Boaz’s patience protected Ruth’s reputation at the threshing floor.
🐾 Application: Integrity in waiting seasons builds credibility and prepares us for lasting favor.
💬 Group Discussion
1): Why is integrity often tested during seasons of waiting?
2): What compromises are believers tempted to make when waiting feels long?
3): Share an example of how patience helped you maintain righteousness.
🪅Reflection Prompt
Am I compromising my values while waiting, or am I holding firm to integrity?
🍩 Weekly Meditation
Galatians 6:9 — “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
Reflect daily on the truth that patience in righteousness always brings reward.
🥈Patient Challenge
Refuse one shortcut this week, even if it delays results. Choose integrity over speed.
🐾 Application: Integrity means trusting God’s timing even when shortcuts seem easier.

Tune: Victoriam • Meter: 7.7.7.7 • Key: D Major
1:
Lord, we lift our hearts in praise,
Exalt the Lamb through all our days;
Grant the crown of life we seek,
Keep the spirit of the meek. Amen.
2.
Let the nations bow in awe,
Hold us in Your holy law;
Rise within us, sovereign King,
Of Your triumph now we sing. Amen.
3.
By Your hand the saints arise,
Fixed upon the eternal prize;
Through the trials we endure,
Make Your final victory sure. Amen.
4.
To Him all voices rise in prayer,
The Victor glorified up there;
We now proclaim for all to see,
The mandate of His liberty. Amen.
📿 Daily Drops
“Lord, we thank You for teaching us that waiting is not wasted. Just as Ruth gleaned faithfully and Boaz acted with integrity, help us to embrace patience with honor. Guard us from shortcuts that compromise our character. Strengthen us to trust Your timing, knowing that credibility and blessing come through obedience. May our waiting seasons refine us, protect our integrity, and prepare us for lasting favor. In Jesus’ name, Amen.”
