๐คHymn from Global Canticle
No. 1 (Sec 2): Be My Mirror
Theme: Reflecting Christ through quiet obedience
Scriptures: John 15:4 · Luke 10:39
Suggested Tune: Woodworth
Meter: 8.8.8.8
Key: D Major
๐ช
Be my mirror, holy flame,
Reflect through me Your sacred name.
In every choice, in small unseen,
Let heaven show where I have been.
๐ช
Let me burn not just for praise,
But for the quiet, holy days.
In stillness deep, where few may see,
Let worship rise inside of me.
๐ช
Carve in me Your righteousness,
Not to be proud, but to bless.
Lord, take this flawed and common frame—
And radiate Your holy name.
๐ช
Abide in me, and I in You,
Till all I am is shaped by truth.
Let every breath, both loud and low,
Reveal the Christ the world should know.

๐ Supported Scripture
- Malachi 3:10 — “Bring the whole tithe into the storehouse, that there may be food in my house. Test me in this,” says the Lord Almighty, “and see if I will not throw open the floodgates of heaven and pour out so much blessing that there will not be room enough to store it.”
- Luke 6:38 — “Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you."
Devotional Teaching
Giving is one of the purest forms of worship. It is not just supporting a ministry — it is placing your heart on God’s altar. Worship is not complete until it touches our resources, because giving reveals what we value most.
When we give, we are saying:
๐ “Lord, You are worthy.”
๐ฅ “My treasure belongs to You.”
๐ “My heart follows my giving.”
In Scripture, worship always involved sacrifice:
- Abraham offered Isaac (Genesis 22:9–12).
- David refused to give God what cost him nothing (2 Samuel 24:24).
- The wise men brought gold, frankincense, and myrrh (Matthew 2:11).
Worship and giving are inseparable. When you give, you are not losing — you are worshiping. You are aligning your heart with God’s kingdom. You are declaring that God is your treasure.
๐ Encouraging Scripture
- Proverbs 3:9–10 — “Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the firstfruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine.”
- Hebrews 13:16 — “And do not forget to do good and to share with others, for with such sacrifices God is pleased.”
⚓Reflection Questions
1. How does your giving reflect your worship?
2. What does your giving reveal about your priorities?
๐ Prayer Point
Father, let my giving be an act of pure worship. Draw my heart closer to You through generosity.
๐Mandate 247 Prayer
Heavenly Father, we thank You for the privilege of worship through giving. We declare that our treasure belongs to You, and our hearts are aligned with Your kingdom. May our offerings rise as a sweet fragrance before Your throne. Let our giving be a testimony that You are our greatest treasure. Empower us to give cheerfully, faithfully, and sacrificially, so that Your name is glorified in all the earth. In Jesus’ mighty name, Amen.
