Hymn from the Global Canticle
No. 4 (Sec 1): Awake, My Soul
Theme: A call to spiritual alertness and praise
Scriptures: Psalm 108:2 · Isaiah 60:1
Suggested Tune: St. Anne
Meter: 8.6.8.6
Key: G Major

Awake, my soul, and sing anew,
The morning breaks with light.
The Lord has stirred the skies with truth,
And chased away the night.

Let every breath proclaim His name,
Let every heart arise.
The Spirit moves like holy flame,
And glory fills the skies.

No longer bound by sleep or fear,
The soul begins to soar.
The voice of God is drawing near—
Revival at the door.

Awake, my soul, and do not wait,
The hour is now begun.
Lift up your praise, anticipate
The rising of the Son.

Encouraging Scripture
So now there is no condemnation for those who belong to Christ Jesus."
— Romans 8:1 (NLT).

Dear friend in Christ Jesus,
As we step into this new year, many of us carry memories of disappointments, losses, or dreams that seemed to have died. Yet the words of Jesus remind us that the grave is not the end, and despair is not our destiny. He is the Resurrection and the Life.

The New Year is not just a change of calendar—it is an opportunity for God to breathe new life into places that felt finished. Your dry bones can rise again. Your buried hope can be resurrected. Your story can be rewritten by His power.

- Christ as Resurrection: He revives what was dead.
- Christ as Life: He sustains you in the present.
- Christ as Hope: He secures your future.

Scripture Reading
"Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new."
 2 Corinthians 5:17 (KJV).

This year, let your prayer be:
“Lord Jesus, breathe Your Spirit into my dry places. Call me out of the graves of despair and lead me into Your promise of life.”

Take courage—2026 is not defined by yesterday’s failures but by Christ’s victory. The One who conquered the grave walks with you into this new year. In Him, dry bones rise, and living hope is restored.

πŸ™Closing Prayer
Lord Jesus, You are the Resurrection and the Life. As I enter this new year, revive my heart, restore my hope, and lead me into the fullness of Your promises. May I walk in confidence that no situation is beyond Your power to redeem.
In Jesus mighty name I pray, Amen.

✨Declaration
“In Christ, my dry bones shall rise, my hope shall live again, and my future is secure. This new year, I walk in resurrection power and living hope, for Jesus is my Resurrection and my Life.”
