Gospel Diary Anniversary Day 1: Unlocking the Power of Faith, One Year Later
💅Theme: Faith That Endures
🙋Focus: Honoring the first post, activating fresh faith, and launching Seven Days of Mercy with bold expectation.
🗣️Bible Reading
Matthew 16:19 (NLT):
- “And I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven. Whatever you lock on earth will be locked in heaven, and whatever you open on earth will be opened in heaven.”
💮Opening Trickle
A Whisper of Mercy.
Before the hashtags, before the headlines—there was a whisper.
One word. One fast. One faithful act.
That whisper became Gospel Diary, born not of fame but of fire—sparked by a servant’s story and sustained by heaven’s mercy.
Today, we don't just celebrate a platform—we celebrate every heart that dared to believe.
💥Flashback Testimony
On August 1, 2024, Gospel Diary began with “Unlocking the Power of Faith: A Christian Guide”, drawing life from Matthew 16:19 and Hebrews 11:6. It wasn’t just a devotional—it was a living testament.
Pst Chris S. Akpan shared how a three-day fast led to a divine dream. That dream didn’t just give direction—it unlocked destiny. A door opened into the Nigeria Police Force, where he still serves. His story proved that faith doesn’t just change hearts—it changes lives.
Step back into the beginning—read the first post that sparked the fire: Unlocking the Power of Faith: A Christian Guide.
💢Quote from the original post:
- “Through faith, I have been blessed with a permanent job since April 1st, 2004... I saw myself in an army uniform—and today, I am an Inspector of Police.”
🍁Short Story
“The Locked Door”
Adanna stood before the door once more. Same door. Same silence. She had knocked year after year—hoping it would lead to her dream: a place to write, speak, and serve. But nothing.
This time, she didn’t knock. She believed. She laid a mustard seed on the sill and whispered:
“If you have faith as small as a mustard seed…” (Matthew 17:20).
The door clicked open....
Inside: one desk, one burning candle, and one handwritten note, “Welcome to the room mercy built.”
She wept—not because it opened, but because she never stopped believing.

🙏Closing Prayer
Heavenly Father,
As we mark this sacred beginning, we thank You for a year overflowing with mercy and truth. You turned a whisper into a witness—and we know You’re not done yet.
We pray over every locked door and every silent hallway. Let Your Spirit move, let faith rise, and let breakthroughs come.
Give us the boldness to declare, the humility to obey, and the joy to keep walking—even when the way seems closed.
May this celebration ignite revival, not just in our platforms—but in our lives. We declare blessings over Nigeria, over every reader, and over Gospel Diary’s next chapter.
In the mighty name of Jesus,
Amen.

I'm Emmanuel speaking from Nigeria.
It's my pleasure to say thank God for all he had done.
I sincerely appreciate everyone of you, those in and outside Nigeria.
I'm happy to to hear from you guys.
I have heard different testimonies from people about what God did for them.
Yes, God did it!
When you go deeper, you would discover that all these came true only through the mighty power of God. Their faith worked for them.
As a Christian, do you believe in the power of faith..?
Firstly, how can your faith work for you?
Now, what's faith?
FAITH: it's the confident assurance that something we want is going to happen.
It's also the certainty that what we hope for, is waiting for us, even though we cannot see it up ahead."
According to Hebrew 11:1, that faith is the substance of things hopeful and the evidence of things not seen.
Jesus is the source of faith.
It's in the Bible, (Luke 17:5, Romans 10:17)
Real faith is believing in what Christ has done.
Romans 5:1, TLB.
"So now, since have been made right in God's sight by faith in his promises, we can have real peace with him because of what Jesus Christ our Lord has done for us."
There are also other definitions of faith.
Faith is trusting God in everything.
(Hebrew 10:38)
It says, "And those whose faith has made them good in God's sight must live by faith, trusting him in everything. Otherwise, if they shrink back, God will have no pleasure in them."
N/B: weak faith can become strong faith with God's help. It's in the Bible, (Mark 9:24), "The father instantly replied, I do have faith; oh, help me to have more!
Here, the man didn't ask for money.
He was in need of the power of God; I mean the power of faith.
The power to be committed in God's presence at all time, no matter the situation.
Never allow your mouth speak for you, but let your heart speak.
Always have this believe that you must actualize your vision, your mission on earth.
Even in the time of trial, have faith that God is going to do a greater thing in your life.
God bless you all.
Shalom!!!
Thank you, Emmanuel from Nigeria, for such a heartfelt message. It's amazing to see people from all walks of life united by the power of faith and the goodness of God. Your encouragement about believing beyond what is seen really resonates. True faith isn't just about asking for blessings—it's about trusting in God's presence in every season, especially the hard ones. May we all grow in unwavering faith and continue to be vessels of His love and purpose. God bless you richly.🙏
